LAUREN MURRAY, CFRE

DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Ask me about: HOW YOU CAN POSITIVELY IMPACT THE LIVES OF VETERANS.

Lauren grew up in a small mountain town in Colorado, where her lifelong connection to wild places first took root. She earned a degree in Environmental History and Political Science from Colorado State University and has since built a career at the intersection of conservation, community, and philanthropy.

Lauren has lived and worked in Yosemite National Park, traveled extensively across North America, often on two wheels, and cultivated a deep appreciation for outdoor pursuits, including mountain biking, backpacking, gardening, foraging, and rock climbing. These experiences continue to shape her personal and professional commitment to connecting people to the outdoors.

Over eight years, Lauren led the growth of the Continental Divide Trail Coalition’s development program, building strong, mission-aligned partnerships with individual donors, corporations, and foundations to advance conservation outcomes at scale. She brings a relationship-centered approach to fundraising and a deep belief in philanthropy’s power to change lives. Lauren is honored to leverage her experience to help improve the lives of veterans and their families.

When not at work, you can find Lauren with her husband, son, and dog, camping, biking, and recharging in Montana’s great outdoors.
