We are sincerely looking forward to welcoming you to MONTANA. DREss code is casual.
A-Bag (Mystery Ranch hunting pack) - what you hike in with on your back. At a minimum, required items are rain gear, lunch, snacks, water, water shoes/pack towel, headlamp, journal, hiking poles, bear spray, non-mirrored sunglasses (no bling!), sunscreen and blister care. Suggested is clothes you need to deal with possible weather
B-Bag (waterproof/duffel bag) - what the pack animals will carry in
DROPSTONE: ****Please note that you will be limited to 30 POUNDS of personal gear to be carried by the pack stock in the panniers
LLAMA: ****Please note that you will be limited to 20 POUNDS of personal gear to be carried by the pack stock in the panniers
C-Bag – Small bag of clean and refreshing clothes to change into when you are completely out of the woods so you don’t have to drive home with the windows down and your feet can have that freshness to slip into. This bag will be left in the trucks at either Dropstones barn or in the trucks at the llama trailhead.
WQW will supply bear spray and stove fuel

* Lightweight down or synthetic Jacket
* Rain Gear both top and bottom- great for wind, rain or snow
* 2 pairs of hunting pants
* 5 pairs of Socks
* 1 set of comfy Camp Clothes
* 2 warm hats
* 3 pairs of gloves – lighter weight with one Heavier weight
* Buff
* Water Purification Kit
* Sunscreen
* Sunglasses (non-mirrored, not bling!)
* Any MEDICATION you may need during the trip
* Blister care/ First Aid
* Hand and feet warmers
* Headlamps new batteries and spares
