Scott Dobson is the Chief Executive Officer of Principle Petroleum LLC, the company he founded in 2013.  When he’s not engaged in business endeavors, he helps his wife raise their eight-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son.  Scott was born and raised in Malta, Montana, and graduated from Montana Tech with a B.S. in Mining Engineering.  He has spent twenty-eight years working in the upstream oil and gas industry, most recently leading teams that plan, fund, and execute energy-related investment strategies.  
As a native Montanan, Scott has loved the outdoors for as long as he can remember and believes in the healing effects of nature.  He enjoys fly fishing, hiking, backcountry hunting, and surfing whenever he has the opportunity.  Scott’s father served in the Army from 1966 to 1969 and was a significant influence in Scott’s passion for the outdoors.  Scott joined Warriors & Quiet Waters when his life experiences intersected with his desire to give back to veterans with an organization that makes life-changing impacts.  He’s excited to assist the WQW team in advancing its mission.
