Matt grew up in Columbus, Ohio, but enjoyed many summers fishing Montana waters with his family as a child.  He attended Miami University (OH) and the University of Denver, where he earned a Master of Science in Finance.  Following graduate school, Matt spent 15 years as an investment banker providing capital and advisory services to clients in the healthcare sector.  Matt relocated to Bozeman in 2016 and subsequently joined Autopilot, a precision CNC machine shop, where he is currently an owner and serves as Chief Financial Officer.

Quickly after moving to Bozeman, Matt was drawn to Warriors & Quiet Waters and its mission of helping post-9/11 veterans through the healing powers of the Montana outdoors.  Matt has served as a volunteer companion on a number of FXs as well as on various WQW event committees throughout the years.  When he is not enjoying quality time with his family, he can be found cursing at upland game birds or looking for the size 20 fly he just dropped on the rocks by accident.
