Bob King
Bob King is the former owner and founder of C.O.O. Services, LLC. The Company provides interim and fractional Chief Operating Officers to lower mid-market companies and large NFPs.
Prior to starting C.O.O. Services, LLC, Bob served as President of a national office supplies manufacturer. In the 1990’s, Bob served in several executive capacities for Georgia-Pacific and Unisource Worldwide.
Currently, in addition to serving on the WQW Board, Bob serves as the Board’s Vice Chair at Warm Beach Camp Ministries in Washington State.
In addition to his NFP Board work, Bob also serves on three Corporate Boards: a Trust Company, a chemical manufacturing company, and a national printing and fabrication entity.
He also serves as a coach and faculty member for the Murdock Charitable Trust’s Board Leadership Initiative.
He has a BA in Economics and Political Science (double major) from Middlebury College, Middlebury, VT, and an M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, in Atlanta, GA.
Married for 40 years, Bob and his wife, Jeannie, have three adult children, all of whom are married and raising families in Washington State. Bob and Jeannie are also the proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren and counting.
He is an avid sportsman who enjoys fly fishing, ski mountaineering, climbing, hiking, trap shooting, and golf.
