We Made a Brand Video, and This is Why It Matters
At Warriors & Quiet Waters (WQW), we know that transformation doesn’t always fit neatly into a statistic or spreadsheet. The journey from combat to healing, from surviving to thriving, is deeply personal. And yet, we also know that telling these stories—honestly, powerfully, and visually—is critical to helping others understand the impact of our work.
That’s why we’re proud to share our new brand video.
Produced in partnership with Outlaw Partners, this video captures the essence of what Warriors & Quiet Waters is all about. It’s not just a highlight reel—it’s a window into the purpose, people, and outcomes that define our mission: to guide post-9/11 combat veterans to find peace, purpose, and belonging through our Built for More program.
What Is a Brand Video?
Let’s take a step back to answer “What the heck is a brand video?”
It’s more than a promotional tool. It’s compelling storytelling—a way to show, not just tell, who we are and why we exist. For Veterans Impact Organizations like WQW, a brand video isn’t about marketing. It’s about building trust, conveying authenticity, and emotionally connecting with people who want to understand what we do and why it matters.
While websites and brochures can offer information, a well-crafted video can offer insight. It can help viewers see the Built for More program from the perspective of the Warriors we serve, in the setting of the vast beauty and wildness of Montana – the place that creates the emotional space where transformation begins.
Why Now?
Over the past few years, Warriors & Quiet Waters has changed. We’ve grown not just in size but also in clarity of purpose and urgency in mission. Our programs have evolved to better support post-9/11 combat veterans on their journey of post-traumatic growth. Our community has deepened, and our outcomes have become lifelong and transformational.
But we’ve often struggled with communicating the true depth of our work. People hear “peak experiences in nature in Montana” and don’t always grasp the full picture: the initial and capstone in-person experiences of Built for More are just a small piece of the program. Time in nature creates the space for healing and builds camaraderie, but the real hard work happens in between these experiences. At home, alone but supported by the facilitators and cohort who are virtually by every Warrior’s side through their entire nine-month journey.
We captured these stories to illustrate the depth of work that Built for More demands. And the inspiring outcomes it delivers.
This brand video gives voice to the Warriors who’ve walked this path. It shows what words often fail to fully convey: that Built for More isn’t just a good deal trip—it’s a catalyst for growth, connection, and thriving lives.
Capturing Outcomes Through Story
Growth takes time. Healing is nonlinear. But in the video, you’ll hear directly from Built for More alumni about how they’ve realized they aren’t alone and that there is hope for a purpose-driven life, filled with supportive community, after service. You’ll see the landscapes that hold space for quiet reflection and deep connection. You’ll feel the gravity of what it means to come home, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
We’ve learned that our most powerful metric is the lived experience of those we serve. And while we continue to collect data, evaluate outcomes, and refine our model, we also know that stories move people to action. This video captures several of these stories.
